After Mma Ramotswe agreed to marry Mr. J.L.B., they were busy on the preparation. Mma Ramostwe asked Mr. J.L.B. to buy a diamond ring, and Mr. J.L.B. was glad that his fiancée didn’t want an expensive one. During Mma Ramostwe was seeking the request from a white woman about finding out where her son was, Mr. J.L.B. adopted two children. Mr. J.L.B.’s maid wanted to revenge Mma Ramotswe because she thought Mma Ramotswe was a killer. The maid asked someone to put a gun in Mma Ramotswe’s house, but the person told the police. The maid was caught to the prison. In the other side, Mma Ramotswe let her secretary to be her assistant detective. When Mma Ramotswe knew Mr. J.L.B. adopted two children secretly, shewasn’t angry at all. Nevertheless, she was happy that she was going to marry a kind man.
